SUMMER TRAVEL DEVOTIONAL FOR FAMILIES
AVAILABLE OUTSIDE PASTOR BRIAN’S OFFICE
This summer as you travel and spend time with family, think about TAKING IT SLOW!
“Find Your Slow Summer,” will help your family sink into the summer season, go slow, and savor every moment. This beautifully designed, ten-page guide includes 50 slow summer ideas, but don’t think of it as a to-do list; instead, it’s a menu of marvels for picking and choosing as the Spirit moves.
These ideas will invite you to kick off your shoes, climb trees, stay up late, catch fireflies, dig for worms, ban the busy, and overall to slow down enough to enjoy God’s beauty all around (and, it comes with a super cute screensaver for all your devices!).
Pick one up and share photos of your adventures in slowness with

DINNER PROVIDED EACH NIGHT
Pastor Brian needs Adult Volunteers to lead groups of Preschool & Elementary Age Children to the different stations each evening. He also needs volunteers to fix dinner. Please let him know if you can help!
PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO PREREGISTER FOR COMPASSION CAMP SO WE CAN
MAKE SURE WE HAVE ENOUGH ADULT VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL THE CHILDREN.
If your child is entering Kindergarten this Fall, sign them up to get prepared for worship! Pastor Brian will teach a weekly worship class for Kindergarteners following the Time for Young Disciples in both worship gatherings on August 13 and 20. Each week, we work on worship bags that the kids can use to bring their Bibles and other supplies with them to worship. After the children finish the class, they will be presented a Bible and their worship bag in whichever worship they attend on AUGUST 27. Your Kindergartener should begin staying in the service and no longer attend Extended Session on this Sunday, August 27.
AUGUST 27, 2017 – All children move up to their
new Sunday School Class (If applicable)
You must be the correct age for your class
by September 30th or have entered
the correct elementary grade).

Help Us Make the Chapel Amazing!
We are ready to begin making our chapel beautiful & usable again and we need your help! The children & youth and Building & Grounds have already been in there doing some of the early work. We can use your help now in cleaning the wallpaper and glue off of the walls so they can be painted. If you would like to gather a group of friends or your Sunday School class or small group to come put in some time, please contact Pastor Brian to set up a time. Tools are provided and instructions are posted in the Chapel.
