The Grandin Court Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry provides a variety of activities and ministry opportunities for service and spiritual growth. We offer four unique Bible Study opportunities on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. We also have an energetic Senior Adult Choir, Grand-n-Glory, which meets on Monday mornings at 10am.
Here are just a few of the ministries we offer:
- Assisted Living, nursing home and homebound visitation
- Small Jobs team through our Deacon Ministry offers assistance with minor home jobs
- Bible Study
- Senior Adult Sunday occurs on the first Sunday of May. We focus our attention on our Seniors and all that they bring to our church.
Here are a few of the opportunities for fellowship:
- Bible Study for our seniors: women’s, men’s and couples classes
- Fellowship with bi-monthly lunch meetings called Young At Heart
- Our Grand-n-Glory choir enhances our morning worship services on occasion, and provides seasonal programs at many local retirement and care facilities around the Roanoke Valley and beyond.
- We offer monthly day trips and sometimes overnight trips throughout the year.
