Sherrie Oliver, Senior Adult Coordinator, is from a military family and has lived around the United States, but has lived all of her adult life in Roanoke, the birthplace of both parents. Sherrie graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and was married to John “Skip” Oliver for 18 years until his passing in 2005. Her work life over 35 years has been administrative; Executive Secretarial, Human Resources Manager, Coordinator of Volunteers for a nonprofit for people with vision impairments. Sherrie has a great love for music and people, her two Shih Tzus, and tap dancing! Her goal is to encourage laughter and happiness!!
